From humble beginnings to powerful moments at the pulpit, her life has been marked by one determined truth: prayer changes everything.
She’s the founder of Word Empowerment to Serve Ministry (W.E.T.S.), a ministry rooted in service, healing, and genuine community, not just a typical church. She also created Women of Substance, a place where women don’t just find a seat at the table; they rise to their calling. Whether she’s leading a Bible study, laying hands in prayer, or helping a displaced mother find hope through the Second Chance Crisis Intervention Center, Dr. McMurry meets people where they are with wisdom, compassion, and no pretense.

Her ministry extends beyond church walls into Loving Hands Senior Care, where she walks alongside seniors facing the challenges of aging and loss, offering not just support but also dignity.
