Education and Experience

Lauren K. Brown earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she specialized in clinical social work with a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach. Her graduate training included intensive coursework in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused care.

Lauren completed clinical internships in outpatient mental health and community-based settings, where she provided therapy to both adolescents and adults managing a range of mental health and substance use concerns.
