Education and Experience

Christina graduated from North Carolina State University with her MSW and is pursuing dual licensure in clinical social work (LCSW) and substance abuse treatment (LCAS). Her journey to becoming a mental health provider was inspired by her exposure to substance use growing up, particularly during her tenure in the food service industry. She has a background in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University, merging her passion for hospitality with her dedication to supporting other’s mental health needs.

Christina believes that collaborating with the right therapist is a fundamental aspect of the healing journey, and she provides support to adults, including those within the LGBTQIA+ community.
As a depression consultant she has experience counseling individuals who are navigating recovery from alcohol and substance use, struggling with self-worth, challenged by expressing and regulating emotions, going through life transitions, have been affected by trauma, as well as those looking to cope with symptoms of ADHD.

Modalities Used

Christina’s approach to treatment integrates the mind and body through a person-centered and trauma-informed lens. Adapted to meet individual needs, sessions may include modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, ADHD coaching, and Somatic therapies that incorporate breath work, mindfulness, and meditation.

About the Provider

Christina will take any opportunity to spend time in her garden, be with her dog, or check out live music. She also enjoys cooking for others, exploring bookstores and garden centers, astrology, anything horror or occult-related, and ambitiously tackling DIY projects.
