Julie is a licensed clinical social worker who works with individuals, provides clinical supervision to provisionally licensed social workers seeking full licensure, and supports people experiencing domestic violence as part of an on-call service. Julie received her MSW from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her 40-year mental health career includes 25+ years of experience as Clinical Director of Crisis Emergency Services for the UNC Department of Psychiatry. Julie has also worked as a therapist in both an outpatient mental health setting and an inpatient program with women recovering from addiction.
