Kalyn (pronounced Kay-Lynn) is passionate about working with individuals to achieve their mental health goals. Before joining Dr. Casey’s team, she worked in higher levels of care, including inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient. Kalyn received her Bachelor of Social Work from UNC Charlotte and her Master of Social Work from NC State.

Kalyn is trained in EMDR to help individuals process and work through their trauma. She is currently in training to be a Certified Sex Therapist.

Kalyn has experience working with adults and young adults living with trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, attachment issues, codependency, burnout, and life transitions. People looking for outstanding depression therapists. Kalyn’s unique ability to connect with her clients and build a trusting, safe, healing environment.

Kalyn uses humanistic, strength-based, cognitive behavioral, and trauma-informed approaches to help individuals feel safe, heard, and empowered. Using client-centered/collaborative methods, Kalyn will assist you in identifying & achieving your goals, developing healthy coping mechanisms, and building on your own resilience!

In her free time, Kalyn enjoys hanging out with her spouse, dog, and two cats.
