Kristine has worked in the medical field since 2000 and has been practicing psychiatry since 2014. She has worked at several local hospitals, primarily in neurology and the operating room. She attended the University of Florida before transferring to NC State to complete her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Practice from Campbell University.

Kristine treats patients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, and ADHD. She also has a unique understanding of alcohol use disorders. She enjoys working with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those within the LGBTQ community.

Kristine is passionate about educating her patients regarding their mental health conditions, medications, and lifestyle treatments to improve their mental health. She believes in a collaborative approach and hopes to guide her patients to make informed decisions about their care. Kristine has a strong desire to get to know her patients well and has enjoyed the honor of watching many of them blossom into their own strong and fulfilling lives.

In her free time, Kristine enjoys many outdoor activities and can usually be found running, hiking, cycling, swimming, playing pickleball, or paddling.
